How to Use Snap Pliers
Snap sets consist of two parts, male and female. The stud being male, socket being female. Both stud and socket use a cap (that is why there are two cap pieces to every snap set).
Using the point of the cap or an awl, place a small hole in your fabric. Place the sharp prong of the cap piece through the hole.
Position socket or stud piece.
Place inside pliers with the cap sitting flush inside the cap die dome.
Apply pressure to secure together (enough pressure to squash the cap's prong flat).
Repeat with other snap piece (stud or socket).
Completed snap.....!
